GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read our terms and conditions carefully before signing this document below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0429 310 013.
- “Owner” Brides on a Budget South West (B.O.A.B.)
- “Hirer or Hirer Representative” – is the person or persons/company signing for goods delivered or returned.
- “Equipment” – means any items, linen, furniture and other accessories listed in the invoice.
- “Site” – is the location where the equipment is delivered, collected, pick up or returned to and from.
- TENTATIVE BOOKINGS:
All tentative bookings will be held for a period of 5 working days ONLY.
After this the date, bookings will be NOT held or secured until a Non-refundable deposit has been paid to secure their date, subject to availability.
- CONFIRMATION of BOOKINGS:
Non-Refundable Deposits are required for all packages booked and placed to secure your Wedding Date with B.O.A.B. and their Services.
Full Payment may be required for some packages at the time of booking.
A 30% Non-Refundable deposit of the total amount quoted will be required at Confirmation of booking.
All deposits are Non-Refundable.
In the case of postponed events, other arrangements may be agreed on for an alternative date-if available only.
Packages are NOT to be altered under any circumstances what so ever. Packages can be be-spoke or tailor made by us (Brides on a Budget South West) to suit ones needs and requirements as agreed upon.
Prices do not include delivery; the hirer is also required to advise of any difficult sites or stairs as an extra charge may apply.
Payment Plans can be arranged via Instalments, with prior Notice given to B.O.A.B.
Card Facilities are available.
- FINAL PAYMENT:
The balance of your account is payable- 6 weeks prior to event date booked on the Invoice.
If for some reason cancellation occurs within the 21days prior to the event, full payment will have been received and will be Non-Refundable.
In the case of the event been postponed, arrangements may be agreed upon for an alternative date if available.
- Payment Recovery:
If Payment for Packages or Hired Items remain outstanding, after 7 days of the Event date noted on the invoice, then Legal action may be taken for the recovering of that outstanding amount without further notice. Costs Associated with Legal Action are recoverable from the Hirer.
The hirer agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Perth, Western Australia.
- HIRE PERIOD:
The items supplied for hire always remains the property of B.O.A.B.
A Hire Period is for a term of 24 hours unless other arrangements have been made and agreed as confirmed on your booking invoice.
Brides on a Budget South West are not responsible for the setting up and packing down of any other items but our own, unless prior arrangements have been made and confirmed in writing.
B.O.A.B. are not responsible for the Collection of glasses, crockery, utensils, cleaning or rubbish after any given event.
Hired Items will be packed down as from 11pm otherwise earlier if needed
- After Hours Surcharge:
If an after-hours pick up is required for equipment and other items, then this must be arranged and agreed prior to your Event and will incur a late-night fee
The Hirer indemnifies and holds indemnified B.O.A.B. from and against all claims, actions, demands and expenses in any way arising from injury, death, loss of income or damage caused to the hirer or the associated users in respect of the items/ equipment hired.
Brides on a Budget South West WA will not be responsible, or accept no responsibility or liability for any risk, in respect to all equipment, for all injuries to and or deaths of persons and any damage to property howsoever arising from the hirer’s possession, use, maintenance, repair, storage and or transport.
If chairs, tables, Arches and other Decorations, are deemed upon viewing of Venues such as Ceremony and Reception sites, is the discretion of B.O.A.B. which consider it being a Safety Risk Issue or any other foreseeable problem arising to Hirer and their Guests, Brides on a Budget South West has the right to refuse the hiring of the item as such, and will not be held responsible what so ever if the Hirer insists to go ahead and request to hire them.
This decision will need to be addressed in writing clearing Brides on a Budget South West of any liability claims, what so ever.
- SECURITY BOND:
A Security Bond is required to cover all hired items and Packages, and is required to be paid 2 weeks prior to your Wedding/Event.
Failure to have Security Bond Paid within the required timeframe, may result to no/or part setup, depending on Package Purchased. Brides on a Budget South West will confirm in writing the outcome of setup, due to no Security Bond being paid.
The hirer is Responsible for: any Loss, damage or breakage of hire items (including packaging items). All lost (missing) or damaged goods/Items OR Equipment will be charged for-at full present day replacement cost.
Any Items/ Equipment, found to be uncleaned wax or heavy food soiled on the Tablecloths or other linen or items will be charged a fee for Specialized Cleaning and will be taken out of the Bond, or other prior arrangements may be discussed in depth prior to the Event in regards the hiring of the Linen.
Aisle runners that are returned in soiled condition will be charged a cleaning fee.
Refundable Bonds will be returned to the hirer, by bank transfer to a nominated Bank Account on return of the hire items/equipment in good clean conditions, unless or other arrangements have been made or specified.
- Weather Conditions:
Carpet runner/other aisle runners/or other hire decorations, including chairs, cannot be used in wet weather and or bad weather. If the hirer insists on using the carpet despite the weather conditions, then they must pay the full cost of cleaning the carpet.
It is up to Brides on a Budget South West’s own discretion to allow Hirer to use equipment or items in wet or bad weather i.e. certain decorations and arches on windy or bad weather conditions.
B.O.A.B will not take responsibility or liability for any injuries or damages if the hirer continues to use the equipment despite these weather conditions
Please note: Many of our items can be damaged by water/moisture/reticulation/condensation etc. As the hirer, it is your responsibility to ensure the items are not exposed to these elements.
ALL Clients/Hirers are Responsible for obtaining their own appropriate permits for the Event Location. A copy of the Event Permit or any other Permits required for the day, are to be forward (Emailed or Copied) 21 days prior to the Event been held, to B.O.A.B.
Failure to do so, can lead to no items been allowed to be set up or hired for the occasion.
“Brides on a Budget South West” does not accept any responsibility for the client/s NOT adhering to the proper Permit Regulations and time regulations should they run overtime. Any fines occurred will not be the responsibility of Brides on a Budget South West. This is the name of the Holder of the Permit’s Responsibility holy and solely. The duty of care to all clients and guests regarding the responsible service of alcohol is the responsibility of the wedding organiser/booker. You must abide by the (R.S.A.) Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws Act.
In accepting a Contract from B.O.A. B., the client agrees to the Possibility of photos being taken for the sole use for advertising-only.
If you do NOT want this to proceed please let B.O.A.B. in writing if you do not this to occur prior to your Special Day.
- SOCIAL MEDIA:
By accepting this contract, you confirm that you will not defame or distribute defamatory, false, misleading, offensive, and discriminatory, out of context content or information relating to Brides on a Budget South West services in any manner on all Social Media Platforms. Including but not limited to just to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, discussion forums, review websites, boards or blogs. Where slander and or defamation of the Brides on a Budget South West named by persons known or unknown can be proven.
Failure to do so-RESERVES & ALLOWS– Brides on a Budget S.W. the rights to seek Legal Action for any Loss or Damages caused in any way, BY PERSONS OR UNKNOWN TO THEM.
For your Wedding to run smoothly, there will need to be regular contact made, preferably by Email, from and to the Bride and/or Groom, or if necessary, a nominated contact person that you trust who can speak on your behalf, and who B.O.A.B can liaise with-leading up to and on Your Special Day. It is strongly advisable to have an on-site consultation with BOAB at least 6 weeks before your wedding day, so all your requirements can be finalised, or changed if necessary. If an On-site Consultation cannot be arranged, a Phone Appointment followed with an Email Finalisation will be accepted.
You must inform B.O.A.B. immediately in writing, if there are any changes at all to either your Wedding Plans, which includes: Wedding Decorating/Decorations, Your Wedding Location and time, etc. Failure to do so will allow B.O.A.B to proceed at their own Discretion or whether to Cancel altogether without notification. Hence then all monies paid to date will be fortified.
- UPDATES, PRICING & CANCELLATIONS:
Brides on a Budget South West reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Prices are current at time of quotation but are subject to change without notice.
Should Brides on a Budget South West have cause to believe that a function will adversely affect the running of our business, its security or reputation, we reserve the right to cancel the function booking.
- ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS:
By paying the Non-Refundable Deposit, you agree that you are personally liable for the payment of the balance of the total invoice and bond, paid in the respective time frames, and you accept the above Brides on a Budget South West WA Terms & Conditions, it then becomes a Legal Declaration being paid the Hire Agreement has automatically been entered by the hirer.
“Elopement Packages” – Terms & Conditions:
The NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit required: $1500.00 upon time of booking.
This money (Non-Refundable Deposit) is ONLY to secure your Wedding Date, Venue and Celebrant (If Applicable)
**Until the Non-refundable deposit is paid in FULL, your Wedding date, Venue and Celebrant (If Applicable) is NOT secure. **
PLEASE NOTE the Following:
- Balance: will need to be paid in full 6 weeks prior to your Wedding Day
- A BOND will be required to be paid 2 weeks prior to the Wedding/Event. The Bond will be returned within 72 hours into a nominated Bank Account by the Hirer-Providing there is NO Missing Items, damage or Breakages. If any Missing Items, Damages or Breakages occur, they will be replaced as new and the Replaced as new and monies will be recovered from the Bond paid. The Balance of the Bond if any that remains will be then returned to your nominated Bank account.
- Payment Plan: Can be arranged, but must be organised prior and payments must commence immediately after the Non Refundable Deposit is paid.
- You will need to meet with your Celebrant to complete all the necessary Legal Documents within the Required Time Frame.
For Weddings conducted in Australia, it is mandatory to fill out the NOIM (the notice of Intend Marriage) This needs to be Lodged –no later than one month before the wedding. You will need to provide Original Copies of your Birth Certificates, and show photo ID such as Driver’s Licence or Proof of Age Card, to your Celebrant. If you have misplaced your Birth Certificate, you can access them from the Births, Deaths and Marriages. If you have been married before you will need to provide either a Divorce or a Death Certificate. Divorce Certificates can be obtained from the Family Law Courts, and the Death Certificate accessed from the Births Deaths & Marriages.
- ALL Clients/Hirers are Responsible for obtaining their own appropriate Shire permits for the Event Location /Public Spaces, including the Beach/ Bush and Park Weddings. A copy of the Event Permit or any other Permits required for the day, are to be forward (Emailed or Copied) 21 days prior to the Event been held, to B.O.A.B. Brides on a Budget South West have the rights to look over and decide if the right Permit/s have been obtained accordantly prior to the Event happening. If found that the Permit/s are not correct, Brides on a Budget South West have the rights to ask the Hirer/s to rectify and obtain the right permits, Hence the reason for looking over the Permit, 21 days prior to the event happening.
Failure to do so, can lead to no items been allowed to be set up or hired for the occasion.

- The duty of care to all clients and guests regarding the responsible service of alcohol is the responsibility of the wedding organiser/booker. You must abide by the (R.S.A.) Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws Act.
- FOOD: Catering to Allergies or In tolerances:
It is impossible for us to create Grazing tables catering to a variety of intolerance or allergies. We take great care to ensure no foods are cross contaminated with products containing nuts, meat, lactose, gluten and seafood. Unfortunately, there is NO guarantee that guests haven’t cross contaminated once they begin grazing.
Therefore, we cannot properly accommodate for all allergies or intolerances on the Grazing Tables prepared, we can however, make up small platters to cater to a few guest dietary needs for a small extra charge. Products included on these platters would be limited to those which are clearly & only labelled by manufacturers and therefore variety will be limited. Customers must understand that platters and grazing table products are prepared in the same premises which repackage nut, gluten, lactose and seafood products. If there is still something you specifically do not wish on the table however, please make sure you let us know, at the time of booking.
- Under NO conditions is any of our packages to be changed in any shape or form, unless prior Written Consent has been given.
Please do not Hesitate to contact us if you require any slight changes to be made to your Package prior to Agreed Quote/or to suit your needs or Budget.
